I did help at an orphanage many years ago. I’m seriously going to have to look into that. One thing this episode did is make me want to donate to orphanages. ![]() A bullied girl getting revenge somehow makes for a satisfying experience. However, I was wrong about Rinne’s story. I already knew how it would go, and that was true. You know, last episode I said I wasn’t interested in Rinne’s story. She then stomps the girl with the broken arm, leaving all three bloodied and out. Rinne kicks anther girl into a locker, knocking her out. She then slams one girl’s face into a locker, knocking her out. She attacks them, breaking one girl’s arm. After the death of her grandfather, Rinne snaps. One of the girls takes Rinne’s phone and destroys it. They again steal it, throwing it in a toilet. The girls discover Rinne was adopted, they decide to fake reconciling with Rinne so she’ll bring her tie clip back. To safeguard it, Rinne stops bringing it to school. They briefly steal her tie clip, but Rinne manages to get it back. At school Rinne excels in athletics and wins approval by the staff. Rinne then starts attending Rosburg Private Academy. Rinne is given a precious tie clip that the old man made. Fuka agrees, learning about Rinne’s adoptive family and the grandfather who was instrumental in that adoption. At Nove’s request, Yumina has compiled information on Rinne, which she gives Fuka a chance to watch. Elsewhere, Rinne goes to Bulgheroni Private Academy, where she is admired but feared. She said it right fuka is stronger than her, at least on that matter.Īnd I wonder whom gonna save her from herself.ViVid Strike! 04 SPOILER Summary/Synopsisįuka continues her training with the girls of Nakajima Gym. she might be strong physically and whatsoever but emotionally she's weak. I bet she'll end up the same lonely girl she is now. what she'll do once she's on top and deem to be the strongest? People respect her because they fear her, I don't think she ever had a real friend aside from fuka, she clearly had no sportsmanship she probably hate fighting deep in her heart and clearly doesn't enjoy any of it. she hates weakness and people who's weak.īut for what cause? what she gonna do with all that strength? like vivio said what is she fighting for? who will she protect if she cast aside everyone (aside from her family?) she thinks unworthy. So she concluded she won't be weak she needs to be strong and probably be the strongest so that none of that will ever happen again. She hates being weak as it leads her to break her promises, for not being able to protect what's important to her. ![]() :( and I bet her grandpa and the people that truly care for her didn't want to see her like that. ![]() Well, this is sad she turns out to be the person she hated the most. A broken arm and some head trauma? Sounds fine to me. They beat someone unconscious as well and didn't even care the next day outside of being afraid of getting in trouble for it. I don't feel bad for those bullies at all. This show just manages to catch you offguard with it at times. Some of the characters in this franchise have had really traumatic pasts and fighting can be utterly violent. Kind of a reminder that this is part of the Nanoha franchise, even as a spinoff. Beating the crap out of her bullies to put an end to it is absolutely believable. And in terms of Rinne doing what she did.is that unbelievable? Bullied kids can respond to bullying in rather extreme ways. It started out with Fuka a young teen beating up a gang! She took a metal pipe to the back of the head and walked it off. The show has set up both Rinne's inborn ability and just what characters in this world can do. I'm not sure you can call anything there unbelievable either. No doubt she beat them unconscious and they required hospitalization.but they didn't die. If they did Rinne would be in jail, not fighting in tournaments. Yeah, obviously none of those girls died. Yui Ogura is doing a great job portraying Rinne. Its too bad about her grandfather though. Overall a good episode that established Rinne's backstory and why she started to fight and her motivation. ![]() The change from angel to terminator was suddenīut the trigger pint was those bullies and they got While earlier episodes did mention bullying seeing it actually happen here is just heartbreaking Rinne's foster parents look to be decent peopleĪnyway they deserve what happens to them in full See how she interacts with people outside of the ring and Rinne looks good in that uniform. Its interesting to see Rinne's school in this episode and get to Lol Fuuka's reaction at seeing Eins just casually adjusting her glovesĪfter they both performed the same move while she is fatigued lol The workout scenes in the beginning was pretty well done
